I was commissioned by Celanese to conceptualize, art direct, and create the artwork for their new Vision 2016. My concept was to illustrate the Fortune 500 company's mission statement and values in their brand colors and in the form of their leading product's molecular structure. Since Celanese is the world’s largest producer of vinyl acetate monomer, the mural was based around the vinyl acetate molecular structure. My concept was to include the Celanese employees into the painting process with me and show the company's values in action.
The process and the collaboration to create the mural was the focus of this video that debuted at Celanese's Global Leadership Meeting.
Each of Celanese's values were individually painted on panels that were used in the film, and afterwards, replicated and framed to be showcased each floor of Celanese's office buildings. The completed 20-foot wide painting was transported and displayed at the Global Leadership Meeting.
