Jalisco Norte
Jalisco Norte was my last full interior project while serving as design director for Coeval Studio. I was responsible for carrying out the initial concept of the restaurant to completion, from developing the interior material boards, designing custom lighting, furniture, doors, bar shelving, completing a full FFE specifications book, reviewing architectural plans, and overseeing the final placement of a Jalisco mask art installation, planters, and seating arrangements. Beyond the interiors, I also hand painted all of the signage on the exterior of the building and doors, a quote mural by Chef Jose Mesa in the entrance foyer, and script style lettering for all the restrooms and directionals. To complete the space, I hand painted a delicate ribbon mural that wraps around the entire bar.
